Rejuran / Rejuran HB A regenerative injection that restores damaged skin from its foundation

Rejuran is an injectable treatment that uses PN (polynucleotide) derived from salmon to restore the skin's regenerative environment. PN supports recovery of the damaged dermis, resulting in overall improvement in skin thickness, firmness, and texture. We use PharmaResearch's MFDS (Korean FDA)-approved formulation.

We consider it for those whose skin has become thinner and dull, those concerned about fine lines around the eyes and inner dryness, or those who want to support recovery after laser or lifting treatments. However, Rejuran does not add volume, so if hollowness is your main concern we will recommend a different treatment. We assess skin thickness, dryness, and fine lines at consultation and then recommend the right approach.

Rejuran has a noticeable injection sensation, so we describe the pain as moderate and manage it with topical numbing cream before treatment. Rejuran HB is a formulation that adds hyaluronic acid to PN to soften the injection sensation, and we recommend it for those sensitive to pain. We decide together at consultation which of the two to use, and the treatment takes about 20-30 minutes.

Raised bumps and slight swelling may appear right after injection, and they typically settle within 1-3 days. If you have an important event such as a wedding or presentation, we recommend allowing at least 3-4 days after treatment. How quickly they settle can vary by individual.

Because Rejuran restores the skin's foundation, many people notice changes in texture and firmness as sessions accumulate rather than after 1 session. We usually check the first response at around 2-4 weeks before proceeding to the next session. Results last several months after completing the course, with individual variation.

For the first course, we recommend 3-4 sessions at 3-4 week intervals. After the course, we suggest maintenance every 3-6 months. Actual intervals and the number of sessions are adjusted based on how your skin responds.

Rejuran focuses on regenerating a damaged skin foundation, Juvelook on texture improvement and volume restoration through collagen production, and SkinVive on replenishing hydration and radiance with hyaluronic acid. All are called skin boosters, but their goals differ, so depending on your concern we choose one or plan them together. We recommend the right combination after consultation.

Rejuran is often planned alongside laser or lifting treatments to support recovery, and it is also combined with Thermage, Juvelook, SkinVive, and others. Whether to do them on the same day, or in sequence with intervals, is decided after consultation based on your skin condition. If you have had any treatments recently, please let us know in advance.

If you have ever had a hypersensitivity reaction to ingredients derived from salmon or other fish, be sure to tell us at your visit. We also carefully assess whether to proceed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking anticoagulants, or have inflammation or infection at the injection site. Swelling and marks are common after treatment, but please contact us right away if pain worsens or anything seems different from what you expected.

For the first 24 hours, do not rub or press the injection sites, and avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and saunas on the day of treatment. Consistently using a regenerative cream and sun protection helps recovery. We recommend waiting 2 weeks before massage or intensive skin treatments.
