07FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does Tune Face work?

Tune Face is a lifting treatment that delivers radiofrequency energy to specific skin layers to improve firmness and texture together. Thermal stimulation of the dermis causes lax tissue to contract, followed by collagen reorganization and regeneration. A key feature is that the depth the energy reaches is adjusted according to the goal.

Who is Tune Face recommended for?

We recommend it for those who want to manage loss of firmness and rough texture together, at a stage before stronger lifting devices are needed. Those looking for lifting with little recovery time may also consider it. After consultation, we also plan how it combines with other devices.

Are there cases where Tune Face is not suitable?

If sagging is already pronounced, it is hard to achieve the desired change with Tune Face alone, so we may recommend other devices alongside it. It is also not recommended if you have an implanted electronic medical device, have metal implants, infection, or wounds in the treatment area, or are pregnant.

Does Tune Face hurt?

Pain is low to moderate, and how much you feel differs by individual. Treatment proceeds after topical numbing cream, and the board-certified dermatologist adjusts the energy while monitoring your response.

How long does it take, and when can I return to daily life?

The treatment takes about 30-50 minutes, and you can return to daily life right afterward. Temporary flushing may occur immediately after but mostly settles the same day, and you can wash your face and wear makeup the same day.

When do results appear, and how long do they last?

Typically, subtle changes in firmness appear first at around 1 month and become gradually clearer over 2-3 months. It is a treatment managed in cycles of several months, and the degree of change and how long it lasts vary by individual.

How often should I have Tune Face?

It is generally planned as a maintenance treatment every 3-6 months. Satisfaction tends to be higher when sessions are continued rather than with 1 session, and intervals are adjusted according to your skin condition and progress.

How is it different from Ultherapy?

They address different layers and goals. Ultherapy uses ultrasound to focus on SMAS-layer sagging, while Tune Face uses radiofrequency and places more weight on dermal firmness and texture. The choice depends on whether your concern is sagging, or firmness and texture.

How is it different from Thermage?

Both devices treat the dermis with radiofrequency, but their uses differ. Thermage manages overall dermal firmness with monopolar RF about 1 session per year, while Tune Face adjusts the energy depth by layer to manage firmness and texture at 3-6 month intervals. We advise which approach suits you after consultation.

Is it also combined with other treatments?

Yes, Tune Face is the central device when combining several devices in the Grays Lifting program. If sagging is also present we consider Ultherapy, for hollowness Juvelook, and for major pore or texture concerns Potenza. The combination and order are decided after consultation.

How should I care for my skin after treatment?

For a few days after treatment, avoid strong heat such as saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), and heavy drinking, and moisturize well. While collagen regenerates, we recommend using sunscreen of SPF30 or higher every day.

How much does Tune Face cost?

The cost depends on the treatment area and session plan, so it is confirmed after consultation. Reference prices can be found on the price list on our website, and booking is available via Naver Booking, our KakaoTalk channel, or phone (+82-51-710-1891); consultations are also available via LINE.
