How we approach it

The same device can be run very differently. This is how Grays approaches this treatment.

Beyond firmness care, we also use RedTouch Pro in combination pigmentation treatment. Depending on the type, size, and depth of the pigmentation and the skin's baseline condition, we plan it together with PicoWay, StarWalker, GentleMax Pro, erbium YAG laser, and others.

When creating change deep in the skin, we place importance on delivering energy fractionally so the skin has room to recover. RedTouch Pro also stimulates the dermis in this way to induce collagen formation.

02What to expect

Changes over time

The principle is to deliver energy in finely divided (fractional) beams to induce collagen remodeling, and to use the 675nm wavelength's absorption by melanin to address pigmented lesions as well.

01

Right after treatment

Mild erythema or warmth may occur, but you can usually go about daily life.

02

A few days

Pigmented lesions may look temporarily darker or develop fine flaking. This is part of the recovery process.

03

Weeks to months

As collagen remodeling progresses, changes in firmness and texture appear gradually. The degree and timing vary by individual.

04

Over sessions

Pigmentation often lightens as sessions accumulate. Intervals and whether to continue are decided based on your response.

05

Maintenance

For firmness maintenance, we recommend repeat care at 3-4 month intervals. Whether to retreat is decided after evaluating progress.

RedTouch Pro

675nm wavelength

A wavelength that delivers energy to dermal collagen and, through its absorption by melanin, also addresses pigmented lesions.

Fractional delivery

Energy is delivered in finely divided beams, stimulating the dermis evenly while leaving the skin room to recover.

Epidermal cooling

The epidermis is cooled during treatment to reduce surface heat and discomfort.

05Before / After

Before & After

Clinical photos. Results vary with skin condition, age and treatment plan. Before-and-after photos are published with the patient's written consent, taken under identical conditions (lighting, angle) and never retouched. Results vary by individual.

Recovery & care

  1. 01

    Same day

Mild erythema or stinging may occur. Do not rub; use gentle cleansing and ample moisturizing.

  2. 02

    Flaking

If fine flaking appears, do not pick it off. Letting it fall off naturally is important for preventing hyperpigmentation.

  3. 03

    Weeks 1-4

Sun protection affects results. Apply SPF30 or higher daily and reapply every 2 hours when outdoors.

  4. 04

    Progress check

Session intervals and whether to continue are adjusted based on your response.

07FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What kind of laser is RedTouch Pro?

RedTouch Pro is a laser that delivers 675nm-wavelength energy to collagen in the dermis. It induces collagen remodeling with a fractional approach that delivers energy in finely divided beams, and treatment proceeds while the epidermis is cooled. It is used when firmness, fine lines, texture, and pigmentation are considered together.

Which skin concerns is RedTouch Pro used for?

It is used for reduced skin firmness, fine lines, pore and texture care, and pigmented lesions such as blemishes and melasma. It is particularly useful when pigmentation and reduced firmness coexist and both concerns are addressed within one plan. Suitability is decided after checking your skin condition at consultation.

It's a firmness laser — is it also used for pigmentation?

Yes, it is also used for managing pigmented lesions. 675nm is a wavelength relatively close to the 694nm of the ruby laser, so its absorption by melanin can be put to use. At Grays Dermatology, it is used in combination treatment with other pigmentation lasers depending on the type, size, and depth of the pigmentation, and responses vary by lesion and individual.

How is it different from injectable skin boosters?

They act on the skin in different ways. Skin boosters deliver ingredients such as hyaluronic acid or PN by injection, while RedTouch Pro uses laser energy, without injections, to induce collagen formation in the dermis. Which approach suits you depends on your skin condition and goal, and the two are sometimes planned together.

Does it hurt? How long does it take?

Because it is performed while cooling the epidermis, the pain tends to be low, but how much you feel varies by area and individual. If you are sensitive to pain, topical numbing cream is applied as needed before treatment. Treatment time depends on the coverage and is advised after consultation.

Can I return to daily life right after treatment?

You can usually go about daily life after treatment. Temporary erythema or warmth may remain in the treated area and usually subsides over time. Pigmented lesions may look temporarily darker or develop fine flaking for a few days.

How many sessions do I need, and how far apart?

It depends on the goal. For firmness maintenance, we recommend repeating care at 3-4 month intervals. For pigmented lesions, the sessions and intervals needed differ by type and depth and are advised after consultation.

When will I notice results, and how long do they last?

Collagen remodeling takes time, so changes in firmness and texture often appear gradually over several weeks. It does not sustain heat in deep layers for long, so repeat care is needed to maintain results. The degree of change and how long it lasts vary by individual.

Is it used with other lasers in combination pigmentation treatment?

Yes, depending on the type, size, and depth of the pigmentation and your skin's baseline condition, it is used together with PicoWay, StarWalker, GentleMax Pro, erbium YAG laser, and others. When several types of pigmentation are mixed, it may also be included in a Spot Clear plan that assigns devices by lesion. The combination is decided based on consultation findings.

I can't visit often — can treatment be planned around a single visit?

For those whose schedules make frequent visits difficult, RedTouch Pro is sometimes combined with pigmentation and vascular lasers to address several concerns together in one visit. However, pigmentation and flushing often require multiple treatments, so results and how long they last vary by individual. Let us know your available visit schedule at consultation, and we will plan accordingly.

Are there side effects, or cases where treatment is difficult?

Temporary erythema may occur after treatment, and hyperpigmentation may rarely appear. If you have recently had strong UV exposure or tanned, take photosensitizing medication, are pregnant, or have a wound or infection in the treatment area, treatment may be postponed or adjusted. If any of these apply, be sure to tell us at your visit.

How much does RedTouch Pro cost, and how do I book?

The cost depends on the treatment coverage, goal, and number of sessions, and is confirmed after consultation. Non-covered treatment fees can be found on the pricing page of our website. Booking and consultations are available via Naver Booking, our KakaoTalk channel, or phone (+82-51-710-1891), and you can also consult with us via LINE.
