07FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does M-Tight work?
M-Tight is a tightening treatment that delivers fine thermal stimulation to the dermis to induce collagen contraction and new collagen formation. It is designed to address laxity in thin-skinned areas and is used to reinforce areas that larger lifting devices cannot easily reach.
Which areas is M-Tight used on?
It is mainly performed on thin, delicate areas such as around the eyes and mouth. We advise you on the exact treatment areas and extent after checking skin thickness and the degree of laxity at consultation.
Who is M-Tight suited to, and are there cases where it is not suitable?
We consider it for those concerned about laxity around the eyes and mouth, or who need detailed reinforcement after treatment with larger lifting devices. It is not a treatment for broad sagging across the whole face, so in such cases we recommend other devices. It is not recommended if you have an implanted electronic medical device, have metal implants, infection, or wounds in the treatment area, or are pregnant.
Is M-Tight effective on its own?
If the concern is localized, it can be meaningful on its own. However, if overall facial sagging is also present, we recommend combining it with other lifting treatments, and the degree of change varies by individual.
Does M-Tight hurt? How long does it take?
Pain is low to moderate, and how much you feel differs by individual. Treatment proceeds after topical numbing cream and takes about 20-30 minutes.
Is there any recovery time?
You can return to daily life right after treatment. Slight swelling or redness may last a few days and mostly settles on its own.
When do results appear, and how often should I have it?
Because collagen formation takes time, results appear gradually over several months, and it is a treatment managed in cycles of several months. There is no fixed cycle; it is planned based on the condition of the area and your progress.
How is it different from devices like Thermage or Ultherapy?
Their scope of use differs. Ultherapy and Thermage address sagging and firmness across the face, whereas M-Tight is used to reinforce localized areas such as around the eyes and mouth. Eye-area firmness can also be addressed with the eye tips of Thermage or Oligio, so at consultation we compare the options suited to the condition of the area.
Is it also combined with other lifting treatments?
Yes, it is sometimes planned together, with lifting treatments such as Ultherapy, Thermage, or Oligio managing overall firmness and M-Tight reinforcing delicate areas. Whether to do them on the same day or space them apart is decided after consultation.
How should I care for my skin after treatment?
Do not rub the treated area, and moisturize well. For a few days, avoid strong heat such as saunas, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), and heavy drinking, and we recommend applying sunscreen daily.
What is the cost of M-Tight, and how do I book?
The cost depends on the treatment area and extent, so it is confirmed after consultation. Reference prices can be found on the price list on our website, and booking is available via Naver Booking, our KakaoTalk channel, or phone (+82-51-710-1891); consultations are also available via LINE.
