We describe the pain as low to moderate, and the treatment takes about 15-30 minutes. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and the formulation contains a local anesthetic (lidocaine) to reduce discomfort during injection. How it feels varies by area and individual.

Slight swelling or bruising may appear for about 1-3 days, and the swelling subsides and the filler settles over 1-2 weeks. For the first 24 hours, do not rub or press the injection sites, and avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and saunas on the day of treatment. We recommend waiting 2 weeks before massage or intensive skin treatments.

We recommend topping up in smaller amounts rather than adding a lot at once.
